What was happening to kjak.fo?

gee i don't know... i really shouldn't...

but i mentioned it once on kjak.fo so what the hey... there are probably a couple of sites but the one i meant was gaming.fo
i'd just posted a couple of messages there when i noticed this thread so that's the one i had on my mind when i replied earlier

So nothing to be mysterious about. With the amount of pushing it took to get you to name the website, I was at least expecting some weird heathen cult of Faroese men who meet in the middle of the night and dance around in sheepskins.

Like kvinna happens to be mostly for women and girls (and yes, I have a subscription, thank you very much, probably the only one in Holland at that) it looks like gaming.fo is mostly for boys and men. I suppose there's not much else to do in a long hard winter than shooting soldiers on your Playstation. I'd prefer to knit, but hey, to each his own

btw i didn't feel anyone trying to squeeze the forum's name out of me (you'll see that noone asked me the name but you)

and don't think us people on gaming.fo only discuss games
i wish we did though 'cause all the talk about politics is getting on my nerves

oh... there are actually a couple of women/girls there but they don't talk that much

one more thing: who in their right mind plays games about shooting soldiers on their PlayStation? that stuff is mostly for geeky pc gamers
the only games about shooting soldiers i play are the ones where the bosses have superhuman powers and a flair for drama
i prefer games about saving the world from a certain longhaired swordwielding psycho (with a flair for drama) and where the hero meets all sorts of strange allies on the quest
no orcs though... those belong in geeky pc games

Ooh! I love sleighing on the inner balloon of a tyre. I think the one I have is from a regular sized tyre, but as with you I'm not sure. I think the tyres they make these days don't have a detachable balloon, but I may be wrong. Either way, you can still get the balloons (is this even the right word?) in some petrol stations.

Well, the Wikipedia article on the tire / tyre uses the term inner tube. However, it says that the inner tube is a torus shaped balloon.

At my lecture today there were some strange prewritten things on the blackboard about Mobius banes. The notes said it was torus shaped and therefore a genus.

I kept wondering about what it all meant while my lecturer was talking about the impossibility of motion and showing us weird youtube videos on overhead.

It has been a strange day but it seems the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon phrase of the day is "torus."
